Incarnation Crosses
Overview
An incarnation cross is the life theme printed from four gates: Personality Sun, Personality Earth, Design Sun, and Design Earth. The free Soul Flow chart shows it by name, in the form Right Angle Cross of 61/62 | 50/3. The words name the angle. The four numbers are those gates, in that order.
You do not calculate the opposite gate yourself. The chart already prints Earth next to Sun. This page is how to read that line: where the four gates come from, why the angle follows your profile, and which of the four quarters the Personality Sun gate belongs to. Generate the free chart if you want the name in front of you while you read.
The four gates, and the two columns
The pro view of the BodyGraph lists the planets twice. The black column is Personality, the conscious side: traits you tend to recognize as yourself. The red column is Design, the unconscious side: body-level traits other people often notice first. Sun is the first planet in each column. Earth is the second. Those four activations are the cross.
In the printed name, the pair before the bar is the conscious Sun and Earth. The pair after the bar is the Design Sun and Earth. Gate 61 in the example is the Personality Sun. That gate is also the one that places the whole cross in a quarter. The line of the Sun (the number after the dot, as in 61.3) is a separate layer. The cross uses the gate.
Personality and Design are both part of one chart. A cross is not "only the Sun sign" and it is not a channel. A channel is two gates connecting two centers. A cross is four planetary activations, whether or not those gates complete a channel.
The angle follows the profile
There are three angles, and the chart prints the one that matches your profile. You can also read it off the two numbers. Right Angle profiles are 1/3, 1/4, 2/4, 2/5, 3/5, 3/6, and 4/6. The 4/1 profile is the Juxtaposition. Left Angle profiles are 5/1, 5/2, 6/2, and 6/3. Twelve profiles, three angles, no leftovers.
The life-purpose block on the chart result describes the angle in plain language. A Right Angle cross is a personal destiny: the theme is lived through your own experience. A Juxtaposition cross is a fixed path: one geometry, held steadily. A Left Angle cross is transpersonal: the theme unfolds through other people. That is the wording already used on the chart. The angle does not change your type, your strategy, or your authority.
The four quarters
The 64 gates sit in a wheel, split into four quarters of 16 gates. The Personality Sun gate, the first number of the cross, is what places you. The quarter is the field that Sun gate belongs to. It does not replace the cross name.
Quarter of Initiation, purpose through the mind: gates 13, 49, 30, 55, 37, 63, 22, 36, 25, 17, 21, 51, 42, 3, 27, 24. Quarter of Civilization, purpose through form: gates 2, 23, 8, 20, 16, 35, 45, 12, 15, 52, 39, 53, 62, 56, 31, 33.
Quarter of Duality, purpose through bonding: gates 7, 4, 29, 59, 40, 64, 47, 6, 46, 18, 48, 57, 32, 50, 28, 44. Quarter of Mutation, purpose through transformation: gates 1, 43, 14, 34, 9, 5, 26, 11, 10, 58, 38, 54, 61, 60, 41, 19. Gate 61, the example above, sits in Mutation. Each gate still has its own page in the gates library. The quarter is the neighborhood. The gate page is the house.
How to find yours on the free chart
Open the free chart result and find the life-purpose line. Read the angle word first (Right Angle, Juxtaposition, or Left Angle), then the four gate numbers. If you want the lines as well, open the pro view: black Sun and Earth, then red Sun and Earth, each written as gate.line.
Read type and strategy before you build a story out of the cross. A Projector with a Right Angle cross still waits for the invitation. A Generator with a Left Angle cross still waits to respond. The how to read a chart page is that order. The glossary defines Personality, Design, and profile if a word in the cross name is new. The cross is the theme. It is not a second type.
